They say a picture is worth a thousand words. This video? It’s worth about 91 felony counts and counting.
Watch as these adorable pigs, sporting suspiciously familiar orange tufts of hair, feast on what appears to be an endless supply of dollar bills. It’s uncanny how well this captures the essence of Trump’s entire political career: greedy, gluttonous, and completely shameless about gorging on money that isn’t his.
The metaphor isn’t even subtle anymore. These pigs are literally doing what Trump has been doing figuratively (and sometimes literally) for decades: consuming cash with an insatiable appetite while the rest of us watch in horror and disbelief.
From bankrupting casinos to funneling taxpayer money into his own properties, from charging the Secret Service to stay at his hotels to hawking gold sneakers and NFTs, Trump has turned corruption into an art form. Except it’s not art—it’s just greed with better branding.
The pigs in this video at least have an excuse: they’re pigs. It’s in their nature to eat whatever’s in front of them. Trump, on the other hand, is supposed to be a human being, a public servant, a president. Instead, he’s spent his entire life—and especially his time in office—treating the American economy like his personal trough.
The orange hair is a nice touch. Mother Nature herself seems to be in on the joke.
So here we are, watching literal pigs eat money while we’re reminded of the figurative pig who spent four years eating America’s lunch, dinner, and everything in between. The only difference? These pigs are probably better at filing their taxes.
Corruption has never looked so… accurate.
